The Queen honours Muslim Aid charity worker

Chairman, Trustees and staff of Muslim Aid warmly congratulate Mohammad Walayat Khokhar, Community Liaison Officer of Muslim Aid, for being honoured by Her Majesty the Queen, with MBE (Member of the British Empire) in recognition of his dedicated service to the community.

Sir Iqbal Sacranie, Chairman of Muslim Aid, welcoming these wonderful news, said “Mr Khokhar deserves this distinguished honour for his untiring and selfless service to the community. His is a shining example for all to emulate. May the Almighty grant him good health and guide him to continue to serve humanity.”
Khokhar responded, “I am deeply humbled by this prestigious honour. I am extremely grateful to the Board of Trustees and staff of Muslim Aid for giving me the opportunity to serve the needy and the disadvantaged.” Mr Khokhar added, “This honour does not belong to me alone but to all those who, over the years, have contributed to the humanitarian activities of Muslim Aid.”
